Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A dead body was discovered in a sack on Saturday morning, causing a stir in Bharatpur. The victim, identified as 65-year-old Deenbandhu Pal, was allegedly murdered for demanding money owed to him. Blood stains were found at the home of Karuna Bagri in the Madhupur area, and the body was recovered from a nearby field.
Police from Bharatpur police station arrived at the scene and sent the body to the Kandi Divisional Hospital for post-mortem. Family members claim that Pal was beaten to death for demanding Rs 6,000 from Bagri. The incident has created significant tension in the area, and the police have launched a full investigation into the matter.
